The Sd.Kfz. 251, produced in various hull types due to wartime simplification, served as a German half-track mortar carrier. The Sd.Kfz. 251/2 model offered a mobile platform for the 8cm GrW34 medium mortar, currently the sole 1/72 scale kit available. The kit features new tooling for a true-to-scale riveted hull. The original vehicle's 8cm Grenatwerfer 34 mortar could be dismounted or fired from within. Models are supplied unpainted and require assembly.
