Xbox (Please Read)

This is an Original Xbox black console (PAL) that has been refurbished by myself. The unit has been taken apart, repaired, cleaned and thoroughly tested to ensure its working condition. The system is in pristine condition and is ready for use out of the box. Here is a list of the refurbishment process of this Xbox: • The motherboard has been cleared of built up dust and debris (capacitor acid) • The dried up thermal paste of the GPU and the CPU have been removed, cleaned and replaced with new thermal conductor. The heat sinks have also been cleaned and rinsed. • The cooling fan had years of dust caked up inside. Every blade has been cleaned out to ensure maximum performance. • A new clock capacitor has been soldered onto the motherboard as the old one was leaking acid. This means that the date and time can be correctly tracked on this system. Due to the unfortunate design of Xbox motherboards, these capacitors only work when the power cable is plugged into the console, so you will still have to set the date and time after every session in which the console is unplugged. It’s still better than having the original capacitor potentially damaging the board and rendering it completely useless. • New rubber feet have been installed on the bottom of the console. You can see them pictured in the listing. • A brand new composite RCA cable is included and can be seen pictured. Due to limited supply the following are NOT included with this Xbox: • Controllers • Power Cable (2 Pin Power Lead) A game is included in this listing, which was used to test the unit. The game in question is Red Dead Revolver and is in working condition and complete with a manual (pictured).
