It is a lovely Grand Tour micro mosaic crucifix of likely Italian origin and manufacture. Circa 1930 to 1940, the detailing is wonderful. Fine micro mosaic stones are embedded in a chromed metal, complete with a simple wire hanger ring. The material of the finely executed figure of Christ is not certain; it looks like brass. The Cross is in silver tone. It is approximately 6.0 x 3 1/4 and in very good condition. Weight 99.5 grams
It measures approximately 7 tall with an approximate 3-3/4 width, end to end. In great condition, does not appear to be any missing mosaic pieces. I have left the metal as is, and not attempted to polish it. There is expected wear given its age. There is a small amount of what I would describe as tiny pitting in a few places, but have noted this on other crosses on eBay. The back is also shinier than the front, so if polishing was desired of the front portions, there would also be a shinier finish as well.
