An Original Vintage Theatrical Linenbacked One-Sheet Movie Poster (1sh; measures 27 x 41 [69 x 104 cm])
In the 1945 musical film The Dolly Sisters, Betty Grable and June Haver star as the famous vaudeville performers who achieve stardom in the early 20th century. The film, directed by Herbert Wilcox, features a strong supporting cast including John Payne as the sisters' romantic interest and S.Z. Sakall as their manager. With vibrant musical numbers and a blend of drama and comedy, the film highlights the glamorous rise and personal struggles of the Dolly sisters.
Overall Condition: FAIR TO GOOD. The poster had paper loss at the top crossfold and some tiny bits of paper loss on parts of the folds. It had pinholes and tears around the edges. Either before or after the poster was backed onto a thin linen with no excess, it acquired some light brown stains in the bottom half of the right border. The color is fantastic, and it displays really well!
