Beautifully colored specimen of fully natural Tutu phantom amethyst from the Tutu Cliffs of Mambilla Plateau in Taraba State, Nigeria. Part of a limited 2018 find, the thick and juicy Nigerian quartz var. amethyst crystal features a stunning terminated crystal with multiple phantom zones. The Amethyst displays shades of purple, violet, pink, blue /blurple and lavender that glow through when backlit. Making this raw gemstone extra special are the intricate record keepers, keys and etched faves of the amethyst, adding more refraction colors and giving it an elestial look. A unique specimen from an uncommon and difficult to mine locale in West Africa. Perfect for display or use in jewelry making as a pendant or wire wrap. Measures approx 4.4 by 2.2 by 2cm.
