Excellent Vintage (1959) W & L.E. Gurley Surveyor's Transit
The instrument appears to be complete with all knobs and vials intact and in very good condition. All screws and adjustment knobs appear to be present and in working order. Both plastic protectors for the viewing portals to read the vernier are intact. The telescope lenses (that are visible) are intact and in good order. The chain and hook that secures the plumb-bob from below is present. The focus works as designed. With just minor nicks and scratches, mostly on the edge of the stage and supports for the telescope (see photos).
