Welcome! I am selling this one-of-a-kind handmade miniature Mardi Gras float. I spent many hours creating this piece from wood, MDF, paper, paint, clay, and more.
This float measures approximately 8 long and 5 tall. The float was constructed using wood and MDF. All of the flowers have been hand painted, shaped, and glued into place. The beads on the sides of the float were all hand-beaded and glued onto the tiny pegs.
The front of the float features a figure-head sculpted from clay and hand-painted. On the top level are two tiny bags filled with throws like flowers, beads, and even a miniature Moon Pie box .
It was completed by adding on purple mylar fringe on the bottom and signed and dated by me. Felt on the bottom protects surfaces from being scratched.
Please note that this is a delicate handmade item and suggested for display only. I recommend keeping this mini float in a climate controlled area, since some hot glue has been used and heat may damage it.
