Superb example of the Sterile Dial contract watches issued to US Military / Army Personnel during The Vietnam Era - 60's-70's.. Several US makers supplied the watches to the same Spec. including Hamilton Elgin and Bulova? This one was made by Benrus as marked inside only. These are 'Front Loaders that is the movement is ONLY removable thru the crystal. Recent check up and oiling. This one won't need service anytime soon. Working 100% as designed. A great example that saw easy (non combat) use during it's lifetime. Can't reasonAble fault. Case back dates the watch to December of 1966. The CLASSIC US Field Watch!!
