The card is unopened and has never touched air or human hands for 25 years. I listed as lightly played/like new only due to the slight curling. I have seen this happen to many of these sealed toy-included Digimon cards. I assume that the toys which included these cards had a weaker seal compared to booster packs or other sealed products which made them more susceptible to the effects of humidity. Just my guess. Otherwise this card is minty fresh and so nostalgic I almost don’t want to let it go.
