This is a piece of Nipomo agate from California, sourced from an old stock collection, cut and polished by my partner and wire wrapped in copper by me! Nipomo agate, also known as marcasite agate, is a variety of chalcedony with inclusions of marcasite, a form of iron pyrite, found in the Nipomo area of San Luis Obispo County, California. Nipomo agate is considered rare, as collecting areas have been closed for over 40 years, and old sources are becoming scarce.
This exquisite piece even has a few druzy agate pockets on the side to add to its unique charm. Be the lucky person to own or gift this one of a kind pendant!
