Vintage Boy Scouts Canvas Backpack, Camping Gear, 1950’ Boy Scouts of America

Nice vintage Boy Scouts of America canvas backpack. This is the Yucca Pack model made for Boy Scouts camping and hiking and is circa around the 1950s to 1960s era. This model was able to be strapped to a metal frame or used without it and has additional brass rings on the back for mounting to one. It is made of canvas with brass hardware, leather buckles, and canvas straps. This has a leather tag on the back for the scouts name and information and this one has the original owners name, etc. on it, which is a cool addition to this piece. Has one large compartment that is closed by a ring tie and one smaller compartment on the front of the flap which closes with two leather buckle straps. Flap has the Boy Scouts of America logo on it. This one is in great solid condition, no holes or major damage, just some staining and soiling from use and aging. A cool vintage piece to use for camping or for everyday use! Also a great addition to a Boy Scout collection.
