Princess Elizabeth was imprisoned in the Bell Tower at the Tower of London. This happened on March 18, 1554, by order of her half-sister and ruling Queen of England, Mary I (Tudor). The collapse of the Wyatt Rebellion resulted in many arrests and executions.
