This heavy and beautiful piece is nicely cast. The heavy (over 6lbs) doorstop depicts a sweet and playful-looking Boston Terrier, with brown coat. The piece is un-marked but undoubtedly the work of the Hubley foundry, Research indicates this piece dates from the early 1900's.
Doorstop presents in very good antique condition, with minor wear and patina commensurate with age and use. There is minor loss to painted finish and at some point someone repainted him. Please review all photos before purchasing.
