This is one of several beautiful jewelry items that belonged to my mother. I have had them simply sitting in a box in a closet but I now believe it is better that they be worn and appreciated by someone who will love them. She had exquisite taste in jewelry and just in general.
This is a beautiful vintage Akoya pearl necklace in a classic white color. There are 62 individual pearls that are about 7.5 mm in diameter. It is 17 1/2 long. The clasp is 14K gold.
