Apple Watch SE 1st generation has scratches on the screen and a deep scratch at the top of the screen, but it charges to a full battery and functions properly. This watch is GPS (non-cellular).
Apple Watch Series 3 has a crack in the top left corner of the screen and has scratches. The watch charges, but the battery doesn’t last as long as it did when I first got it. The watch functions good.
NOTE: these watches don’t support the new update, so they can’t be updated to the latest watchOS update.
