This is a Elegant vintage blue and white porcelain large Chinese ginger jar, temple jar, urn or container with lid. The elegant ginger jar has a rounded, spherical body and features an intricate Asian floral design of chrysanthemum flowers, leaves, trees and birds covering the body of the jar with geometric and ring borders along the top and bottom and a lid decorated with flowers and a tall and narrow knob finial. The urn is stamped on the bottom with blue lettering Made In China and measures approximately 11 3/4 tall with lid, 8 at its widest point, with a mouth that measures 3 1/4 in diameter and a base measuring 6 1/2 in diameter. It is in very good condition, pre-owned, without chips or cracks, with minimal surface wear.
