This simple and beautiful Gown was unsealed from its 1982 preservation box in front of me. I have the paperwork dating the preservation, as well as the box, which is much too big and unnecessary to ship. Seems home made.
This gown has some flaws but I truly believe can be brought 100% back to like new by someone who has the skill and time to do some fixing.
There are two tears near the bottom of the Skirt in the top layer of fabric which can fairly easily be replaced as it is a separate section from the rest of the skirt.
There is 1 daje pearl missing on the left wrist.
The other flaw is some very light discoloration spots which we tried to get in photos. I think these could be cleaned out but I'd rather have that done by a pro.
One side of the Hat is misshapen from being stored on its side for 40 years.
