Crucifix measures 1 long, by 0.5 wide
Plain gold 15 chain with spring clasp closure
Marking on clasp back difficult to capture in photo, but appears to be either 10k or 14k
Purchased in Ireland, never out of the original presentation box.
9K gold is stronger than higher karat gold. The other metals in 9K gold hardens it, making it a more durable choice. Higher durability means 9K gold doesn't easily wear and tear. This makes it last for longer, especially for light and delicate jewelry pieces
