Vintage 60s Harry Levine HL USA Black Clutch Evening Bag With Ribbon Strap.
This is a really cool vintage black cloth clutch evening bag from Harry Levine HL USA. I found a page from the 1961 issue of “Handbags & Accessories which has what looks like this clutch or a very similar one on top of the bench (I’ve included an image) It has a metal knob closure with what seems like a wooden frame. It’s a cloth ribbed material and a black ribbon handle. Inside is stamped with the Harry Levine signature. Measures approximately 10.5 x 7.5 long. Really cool vintage piece.
Clutch is in good pre-owned condition with some minimal signs of wear or use. It’s in pretty good condition for being so old. There is some wear on the corners of bag and on the frame. There is also a tiny snag on the ribbon. I’ve listed as many up close pictures as possible for reference. Please let me know if you have any questions or would like any additional photos.
