Green tortoise shell bakelite trimmed in brass 6 piece vanity set
Keep young and beautiful begins Al Dublin and Harry Warrens London review song of 1933. And what better way to do so as by using this fabulously rich vanity set. This was a first place debutants prize for the 1932 Viel Prophet Fair held in St. Louis ,Mo. The insignia is printed on the old worn and shredded original case for this set. Place it on a gorgeous vanity mirror or tray and show-off on your lovely make-up vanity or atop your antique dresser. Very sweet. Don't think its ever been used. Brushes are made from genuine horse hair , the glass from the perfume, talc and powder pot is very thick and lids are cork lined. The green bakelite is absolutely stunning. So dimensional. Note, the hair brush was damaged as is case. 6 piece set which includes hair brush, nail brush, powder pot, talc bottle and 2 perfume or shampoo bottles.
