This was a collection where Riccardo Tisci shone so brightly. I remember it being praised at the time, with everyone saying Riccardo finally did it!
Previously, there had been a string of collections that felt trapped in Britishness, lacking Riccardo's signature style. But this collection introduced darkness, perfectly blending Burberry's heritage with Riccardo's dark character. It was hailed as the best collection yet, and I was so moved by it that I bought something immediately.
