The First Spoken Words of Love by Italian born but English raised artist, Charles Edward Perugini (Sept. 1, 1838--Dec. 22nd 1918). A highly skilled draftsman and painter, Perugini was very active in the English art world and had close ties with the Pre-Raphaelite Botherhood. He married Charles Dickens daughter, Kate, another an accomplished artist, and they often worked together.
