This is indeed a rare find! An original WILLIS & GEIGER leather Map Case, in near mint, unused condition! The legendary Willis & Geiger Outfitters operated from 1902 until 1999, and provided clothing and gear to world famous adventurers
This bag is MADE IN THE USA with Aniline Leather. (If you research Aniline Leather, you will find that it is the finest leather available, and only 5% of hides can be made into Aniline Leather). Detachable, adjustable leather shoulder strap, heavy brass hardware. Leather fob with key for the strap locks on the front. Under the main flap there are two flap pockets large enough to hold a cell phone, sunglasses, etc., along with a long, shallow zipper pocket for pens, pencils, keys, etc. The inside main compartment is divided into two large sections for books, tablet, small laptop, etc. On the back exterior there is a large snap pocket. Overall dimensions are approximately 15 high, 11 wide, 5 thick.
