This is a really neat, and RARE old paperback I found in my goodies. Very early Boxing. Fox Athletic Library Blocking and Hitting. Copyright 1905. Richard J. Fox Publishing Co. A great looking cover. The book measures 4.5” by 7” and has 59 pgs (plus 2 pages of ads). There are 24 great pictures of George Elbows McFadden showing his defensive moves. The book appears to be in Very Good Condition. The pages are clean and the cover looks great for 115 years old! There are a few creases to the cover but no tears or creases in the pages and the spine looks strong. Elbows was a professional Lightweight boxer from 1894 to 1908, He was known for his defensive tactics.
