Stunning Santo Domingo Pueblo handmade Mosaic Dangle earrings. Made of natural stones and old vinyl record backing. Stones consists of turquoise, coral, mother of pearl, etc. With sterling silver French wire post & silicone cap.
Robert used an old Traditional handmaking process similar to his ancestors using old vinyl records or recycled material to set the stones. Depression era Santo Domingo mosaic jewelry were accomplished with the same techniques. Genuine Santo Domingo jewelry are very hard to find, due to the dwindling number of artisans at the Pueblo.
These Earrings was purchased directly from the artist, Robert Rosetta, a member of the Santo Domingo (Kewa) Pueblo, New Mexico.
