This 15 hand turned vase made by Don Noble in Colorado from locally-harvested standing dead Aspen wood, which means no live trees are harmed in Mr. Noble's fantastic art. This is an absolutely beautiful example of his work.
After turning, this vase was sealed to prevent further drying and possible cracks in the wood, and to keep the color. A natural maple-gold color to the body with a dark rim around the top of the vase. Overall, the vase shows the natural imperfections of the wood, including one knot about mid-belly on one side.
Vase is in excellent used condition - no visible flaws, cracks or repairs. From a smoke-free, cat friendly home.
