Antique artisan made bronze, silver plated Lion's Head ring. Some things about this ring. It's at least a couple centuries old. Also, the base metal is bronze, but the silver plating is done in a way where it's so thick that it doesn't leave your finger green. I wore it for months with no problems until, unfortunately, a part of the heavy-duty plating chipped off in one place. You can see it in the pictures. It's on the outside so it still doesn't leave your finger green. The ring doesn't even tarnish. Note: you will see 'sterling silver' rings like this elsewhere; they're mistaken - and they can't really be blamed because it's the really thick outside plating, again. I am discounting this ring to an extent but it's still a historical piece I would rather keep if I don't get a fair offer. Thanks.
