Item is in used, as-is vintage condition. There are signs of wear including some scratching and a heavy patina. The bottom has its original pink lining. The lid I believe used to have lining but no longer does. There is the original rising sun makers mark on the bottom, signifying that it is an Asahi Shoten box.
