This is an original Eidenberger etching. It is new. Signed by Eidenberger in person before 1991.
Josef Eidenberger - 1899-1991 - was an Austrian artist. He began his artistic career as a landscape painter, showing great perception for the mood of the local countryside. His work can be found in galleries and print collections throughout the world. Exhibitions of his work and his contributions to the art world are literally too numerous to mention.
Measurements:
Print: approximately 13”x11”
Frame: approximately 21”x19”
The matting used in the frame has some signs of wear/age on it and there’s a water damage spot on the bottom corner of the matting. The print itself (and the signatures) are in excellent condition. Please see photos for more details.
