This 1 Euro coin from Croatia, is a unique addition to any coin collection. The bi-metallic composition and circulated state make it a great find for collectors seeking authenticity and rarity.
Please see the pics - this coin has been struck by a mis-aligned die, causing parts of the obverse design to shift below the silver-plated inner circle and onto the outer gold-plated section - doubling can also be seen all around the marten, and on the reverse, doubling can be seen on the “R” & “O” in Euro, along with more doubling visible on the Italian peninsula. Unfortunately I am not at home so I am unable to take even higher-grade pics with my telescopic camera, but the errors on this coin are so blatant that even the iPhone pro camera was able to pick them up quite well.
