This gorgeous Queen pattern vaseline glass pedestal dish is in good vintage condition with no chips or cracks noted. First manufactured by McKee and Brothers in the late 1800s, this mold was later reintroduced by Mosser and LG Wright. The vaseline glass glows brightly under UV light thanks to its uranium content (pictured under 395nm). The pedestal bowl is 7-1/2 high and measures 8-1/2 wide across the top. The bowl has a depth of 3 . The top and bottom of the pedestal stem is 1-3/4 wide, gradually decreasing to 1 in the middle. The pedestal is solid glass that is flush to the bottom of the bowl. The diameter of the base is 4-1/2 .
The pedestal bowl is in excellent condition. There are no scratches or chips to the glass but manufacturing flaws are typical from this time period so please view all photos carefully and judge for yourself. This pedestal dish would make a lovely addition to any uranium glass collection!
