This is a rare pre-shrunk type of black denim, beloved by many, produced in the late 80s to early 90s after the red tab era. 〈The top button back stamp is 653 (old factory )〉.
It seems like it's not the original length because the hem is finished with a single stitch, but the fading on the hem is really beautiful.
There is some damage around the hips (see photo 16), but considering the age, the seller thinks it's totally acceptable. It's rare to find black denim that has faded so beautifully!
In my personal opinion, if you're looking for a 66 later model blue denim, black denim is definitely the way to go!
Pre-shrunk models were only produced for less than 10 years, so they are becoming increasingly rare. Don't miss this opportunity!
