This ring is SOLID. Crafted of solid 14k white gold on top, and solid 14k yellow gold underneath. The yellow gold borders each edge of the white gold, creating a beautiful accentuation. Straight cut edges, but quite comfortable to wear. Four natural, round brilliant diamonds, each 1/16" in diameter, accent the top of the lightly domed ring. Diamonds were tested using a Presidium gem tester.
Ring is 9 mm wide at its widest point. Weighs a hefty 7.28 grams. Size is a US 7 3/4. Both the gold and the diamonds are in excellent condition, with no deep scratches or gauges to the naked eye. Marked "Columbia 14k" on inside of ring, indicating that the ring was made by Columbia Jewelry. Looks to be a men's ring, but I've seen men and women wear similar styles.
I've hand-polished this ring to its original high shine, and was impressed with its condition. One thing is for sure: you would have to try very hard to mess up this ring!
