It took me 10 hours of research over 2 weeks to piece together the history of this Conder token.
It is cataloged as DH#22, a Yorkshire/Hull Conder token. It has the Hull Halfpenny reverse of one coin and the sailing ship design from another coin, almost a mule, but I believe it was intentional.
It has a die chip at the 2nd acorn.
Another researcher says, "It is a copper token struck in 1791 in yorkshire/hull by a diesinker named Hancock, produced for Jon Garton & Co.. The edge inscription reads. 'payable in Hull and London-xx-' Another example exists at the National Maritime Museum, in London... item #151"
As of July 2024, I am aware of the existence of 3 of these coins. This one grades a nice VF+, almost XF..
