Schaefer was well known fro being a Baseball Trickster and a tactician in the early 1900's. He was famous for stealing 1st Base and MLB had to put in a rule change in order to prevent it from happening again.
The Polar Bear Backs are much rarer and sought after than Sweet Caporal and Piedmont backs.
The card has great centering all the way around.
