City of New York Department of Public Welfare "The Training Schools for Attendants" Pamphlet from the 1920s!

This Pamphlet provides a general overview of The Training Schools for Attendants (Nurses) that was established in 1920 in New York City. Nurses who graduated the training program were given $60.00 a month for institutional work; or $4.00 a day for private work.

The mayor is named as being John F. Hylan, who served as the Mayor of New York City from 1918 to 1925!

Pamphlet is in excellent condition. Was found securely tucked inside a book published in 1923.

Measures approximately 6.25" x 9.5" when closed.
