He said that in his own words once.. Ruth was a larger than life character while he was alive and this card shows it the way he said it. We have never had another like it and feel this is a very undervalued card of the legend.most prewar cards of Ruth are much like this one.. they were hand-cut which means most came on strips of cards and handed out at convenience stores back in them days.
