This rings fine craftsmanship plays a role in making up the classy aesthetic of this masterpiece. The ring itself features a HUGE piece of black onyx that has been cut into a marquise cabochon. Despite the size of this stone, the ring doesn't weigh your hand down when wearing it! The black onyx is cut and set perfectly in a fancy bezel setting. The entire stone & setting are framed with engraving and beautiful metal work. This ring's shoulders are split shank so it appears to have three bands that join into one. This piece is singed "Alfred Payton" on the back of the setting dated 1960s-1970s Navajo Native American ring.
