This offer is for 6 English Ironstone dinner plates crafted by Churchill, Staffordshire, in the classic Willow Blue Pattern. The pattern presents a cobalt blue Asian design on cream colored background, and is one of Churchill’s most famous and timeless. Originating in 1818, this crisp and clear pattern tells the story of two lovers turned to doves. It is classic with a traditional feel. These plates are in very nice vintage condition with no chips, cracks, repairs, crazing, or stains. There may be some very light utensil marks that can only be seen up close if the light is just right. There are some glaze bumps on some backsides that are typical of the manufacturing process. Plate size is 10.25.”
