Kit is brand new. After a ton of testing, and wasted time, I was unable to get my system to run more than 64GB at full speed (6400MHz). I was only able to run stable at 4800MHz with more. Which is honestly pretty good considering it’s beyond the Intel spec for my CPU. I also realized that I don’t really need 196GB in a single computer that I don’t really use all that often. I have two other kits just like this and am going to use one in this computer and one in another.
I’m outside of my Best Buy return window so my loss is your gain.
