ANTIQUE 19th Century French Cast Iron Brilliant Blue Paschal Resting Lamb Mold *Pls. Read*
Also known as an Agneau Pascal or Osterlamm mold this vintage blue enameled cast
iron cake/chocolate/wax mold was traditionally utilized to bake lamb-shaped cakes for Easter and other celebrations.
The two sides of the mold are being held together by metal clasps.
The interior of the mold is coated in white enamel which is clean but has stains and suffers some cracks and wear
over the 125 + years it has been displayed and enjoyed.
There is wear on the enamel inside and out leaving behind the perfect amount of patina,
weathering and vintage charm given its historical significance.
Measures 15" x 9" x 6" with handles on each side.
Hefty piece weighing 11 pounds prior to wrapping.
Highly collectible for display purposes.
