Antique handmade cotton shawl/vest

This very unusual piece was hand made in the 1930's.That is what I was told by the woman I purchased it from. Looking at the hand work and fabric the time frame looks right. Pretty paisley print in red and gold with a little beige and black with hand sew on faceted rhinestones in red, gold and blue green. Gold sequins embellish some of the paisleys. It is embellished with red cording all of which looks hand sewn. The inside has an attached vest. It has hooks on the corner ends and inside the lining. Of course it could also be worn open. It would be a size XS or S if worn with the arms through the holes. It measures 40" long end to end. 18" long down the back. Laying flat seam to seam it's 17 1/2" across the back of the vest. The fabric is cotton and in excellent condition. No fading or tears. The only condition issue is some of the red cording is loose in a few spots but that would be an easy fix.
