Heavy Cavalry German Saber Blucher Sword Prussian WarM1873
This is a German Prussian War Saber Cavalry Sword, M1873. It is mounted with a massive, curved blade that measures 30 inches in length which remains in very nice condition. Beautiful cutting edge. The blade is dated "15" on the spine. The metal stirrup guard, which has a beautiful patina, remains in nice condition as well and frames a solid wood grip with lots of character and does remain in very good, sturdy condition. The metal scabbard also remains nice; it appears to have been painted. Overall measuring 36 inches in length.
