Very beautiful piece by the late great Charles Henry Granger (1812-1893)
He spent his last years in Maine! He was born in Saco, Maine & though he traveled often...Saco was his home & where he ultimately passed away in 1893. This is an amazing ORIGINAL Antique Seascape/Beach Landscape Oil On Canvas Painting.
Painting said to be of Old Orchard Beach
The painting size is 8 x 10. With frame it measures 15.5"×13.5"×1.5".

The painting was put in a MCM frame by previous owners in the 1940's-1950's. The previous owners mother was said to be a friend of Charles Henry Granger & his wife Mary when they had cottages close to each other at the beach in Saco, Maine.
This piece was said to be done around the 1870'S-1880's
There are very limited examples of Artist work with some at National Museum of Art.
