Rare sterling silver USN United States Army HH signed ring. The gold section up top is in thje shape of an anchor. I had the ring upside down when I put in on my finger so if you flip the photo (I can't flip it once it's attached), you will see the subtle anchor. The HH signature likely stands for "Hollow Handle" which was a style of silverware and so I can't say why this signature is exactly on this piece since it is a ring and not silverware. Could possibly be the maker? This piece is quite rare. From WW2 era. Tapered shank.
C O N D I T I O N:
good vintage condition. Moderate signs of age and wear. Some surface scratches. The anchor up top is signs of aging. It took me a while to thoroughly clean it to reveal the anchor.
