Antique Victorian 1880’s 10k Rose Gold Filled Carnelian Stone Cameo Bar Brooch
This antique rose gold brooch features intricate layered metal work with embossed filigree that showcases a cameo carving at the center with a carnelian stone base!
It looks like the original c-clasp may have broken off at some point and a fold over clasp was soldered on in its place. The pin and hinge are original to the piece and very common for the Victorian era.
Acid tested at 10k. Base metal is zinc & copper. Only gold filled. Rosy color is like from copper base reacting with the gold fill. Not stamped.

• Condition: This is an antique piece at least 130 years old! Looks fantastic for its age! Refer to previous comment about clasp. There is patina, just adding to its antique charm! Please see all pictures. Scratches present.
