This beautiful piece has two notches at the top that work to help pull the secret space to hold a photo. The other side of the locket is missing the frame but a photo can still be secured with a piece of double sided tape.
Both sides of the locket have beautiful images of villages etched with extreme detail. The craftsmanship on this locket is extraordinary.
It has some patina that looks beautiful and is in overall very good antique condition.
It was not marked for metal content but is gold filled.
It measures 3/4" x 1 1/8" and stays closed securely.
