It's not often we see a combined set of W.H. Grindley (Royal Ironstone China). This handpainted trio features a cranberry band with gold linings on a white background. There is the pitcher, or ewer - the shaving mug, and the small vase - all in varying degrees of condition. The Grindley trademark is on the base of each piece. In our family since before 1900. The pitcher stands at 7 inches from base to spout and is approximately 6 1/2 inches across from spout to handle and maybe 4 inches wide at the base. The cranberry trim shows a few imperfections, the most notable shown near the handle. There is also evidence of "crazing" (light cracks) in several places. This is NOT re
