The nematodes in Scanmask seek out pest insects, enter their bodies and release a symbiotic bacteria that kills the pest. BioLogic’s nematodes have not been modified in any way and are supplied in a moist inert carrier. Treating with Scanmask is easy! Apply with either a hose end sprayer, watering can or BioLogic’s Nema-jet sprayer. Scanmask controls a wide variety of insect pests, but is safe for people, pets, and plants. Scanmask is also compatible with other beneficials like earthworms, ladybugs, and praying mantids.
