Mid-century modern vase by Italian studio Bitossi for Raymor. This vase is likely part of the "Seta" series in the 1960s. I have not seen another like this but similar works come from the Seta series. The inside is painted the signature Bitossi blue color and the body of the vase has some subtle blue underglaze. Pattern is hand painted and crosshatch textured in blocks of black, yellow, white, and green. Dimensions are 4 in at the widest and 13 in tall. The base is 2.75 in in diameter and the opening at the top is 1 in in diameter. There are 3 small chips (shown in photos): one at the base that is hardly noticeable when the vase is sitting on a table, one tiny chip at the top opening, and one small chip on the inside. This is a beautiful vase that is perfect for a collector of fine pottery or MCM decor. ** Similar items sell online for $700-$900 **
